Theatre Trailers, Vox Pops & Promotional Videos
Warehouse Digital as a company was created by Pete & James who have a combined 15+ years working in a theatre environment. They have both worked in management, backstage and creative roles. They can harness this unique experience to work with your theatre production in harmony and achieve the best possible video material to promote your show.
Vox pops & Audience REactions
What better way to tell any potential audience about your show than to let them hear from those that have experienced the show first hand! Warehouse Digital can help you capture the audience’s reactions as soon as they leave the auditorium giving a real and raw account of their thoughts and emotions for you to help sell your show.
Worried about what they are going to say? Our editing services come hand in hand with any filming we do! We can also help you come up with the best questions for your audience to get some great responses.
Behind the Scenes Rehearsal Trailer
If you have some extra funding to put towards your marketing efforts, a rehearsal trailer is a great addition to any marketing strategy. This gives your audience a chance to have a look in the rehearsal room and heat from the actors and creatives about the show. Sometimes text and images aren’t enough to sell a tricky show, so let your colleagues do the talking for you!
We can spend some time in the rehearsal room capturing some organic content of the actors rehearsing, as well as borrowing them for 10 minutes to sit them down and get a quick interview.
Of course this is then all edited together into a rehearsal room trailer to share on your social media platforms. Alternatively smaller bite-size shorts can be created to push out to ‘stories’ style platforms.
How to film a Theatre Trailer

At Warehouse Digital, we specialise in capturing live theatre both for creating a trailer, and an archive of the performance. We do this in a number of ways, and this can very depending upon the primary outcome of the project.
If we’re going to be focusing on a fast cut production trailer, we need to make sure we get up close with our stabilised gimbal to get the fast, close dynamic shots. If we’re filming to primarily archive the show to potentially sell in the future, then a wider variety of mid/wide camera angles is more useful in the edit.
Audio also plays a key part in any recording. A simple desk feed is often all that’s needed – although sometimes we may take a multitrack recording, and re-mix a slice of the music from the show for the trailer.
Get in touch with us today, and we’d be happy to advise on the best setup we can provide for your show.

Archive Recording
We are also able to create a high quality archive of a whole theatre show. Including multiple camera angles, multi-track audio recording, and a professionally mixed and produced end product – perfect to either archive the show, or show to prospective producers that may be interested in taking the show further.
