Working once again with London Studio Centre, Warehouse Digital provided a bespoke package of Sound System operation, Equipment Hire and System Setup that ensured the show was delivered to a high standard for the audience.
Redundant Playback System

To ensure the show could carry on in the event of a failure, a redundant playback system was specced and supplied for this show. This consisted of two individual Mac Minis running the latest Qlab playback software. These were both triggered at the same time with a That Little Box Go Button. In the event of one of the Macs mis-behaving, the sound operator could choose to switch all audio over to the backup Mac, and the show would continue.
Along with the playback system, a fully redundant Dante network was installed to transport audio between the playback and radio systems at the side of stage, and Front of House where the Sound Operator would be stationed. This network also enabled real-time monitoring of all of the radio mic channels, along with a text-based chat system to share any issues or notifications amongst the team.
Performance Capture
Whilst we were on-site we also captured the performance with our Filming Equipment and provided a high quality archive of the show for the college. This involved filming multiple shows with multiple camera angles and compositing them together to produce an engaging cut of each performance.
Skilled Operators
Along with the latest equipment, Warehouse Digital provided a Sound Operator, a Sound #2 or A2, and a Systems Engineer to setup the system. A strong team was essential to the smooth running of the show, as there were over 16 radio microphones that needed to be fitted, managed and swapped between the different acts on the stage.
Here you can see Lizzie operating the Yamaha QL5 sound desk with Sonoros Radio Mic software running on a Macbook next to her. She is also screen sharing the playback system on stage to keep an eye on everything!
