Interactive Projection

Working closely with Thomas buckley, we turned an idea into reality. Having done a similar installation before, albeit inside a building, we were tasked to create multiple projection surfaces outside, over a bridge, over water. We manufactured the frames and rigging, along with providing the lighting and site infrastructure required to house the projector and control the event safely.

A collaboration between Thomas Buckley and Tom Hobden “A Hand, Held” uses custom made capacitive touch sensors to trigger bespoke computer generated visuals based on the connectivity between two or more people. This work is made in collaboration with young people from Hilsea, who’ve undergone a programme of creative technology workshops with the artist. learning skills in animation and 3d modelling.
